Salad Dressing Recipe

Wondering what salad dressing goes well with grilled tuna?

Well, here it is! I went to a cooking class by Marco Pierre White, and loved this fresh, simple dressing.

To be honest, you want smaller tomatoes because they'd look better - I couldn't get any at the time of making this.

The dressing is prepared in advance to let the flavours mingle together. It's so simple to make and looks amazing.

How to make it

There's no real recipe, as all you do it mix together.

You want 3 parts of extra virgin olive oil to 1 part of lemon juice.

No salt is needed as the capers are saltly, but of course, have a taste and decide for yourself.

Then add the following:

  • a handful of cherry tomatoes - halved
  • a few green olives - halved
  • a few black olives - halved
  • 1 tablespoon capers

Vinaigrette salad dressing

If you just want a simple vinaigrette salad dressing, you can just mix 3 parts of extra virgin olive oil to 1 part of lemon juice, add a twist of freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of salt.

Then add a little Dijon mustard if you wish.
