Healthy and Low-calorie Meat Recipes That You Can Easily Make for Your Family

Goulash
This is a yummy dish that shouldn’t take more than thirty minutes to make. Goulash originated in Hungary but this recipe is for American Goulash.
It is a low-calorie, dairy-free, and egg-free recipe that would serve four persons. Let’s start with the ingredients, you will need:
● Two tablespoons of parmesan cheese (grated)
● One cup of low-sodium beef broth
● One and ¼ cups of elbow pasta (whole-wheat)
● One can of tomato sauce without added salt
● One tablespoon of olive oil (preferably virgin oil)
● One and a half cup of onions (chopped)
● 0.45 kilograms of lean ground beef
● Two garlic cloves (minced)
● One teaspoon of salt
● ¼ teaspoon of pepper (ground)
● One teaspoon of Italian seasoning
● Two teaspoons of paprika
Get a saucepan and turn the heat on medium-high to heat the oil. Then, add the chopped onions and ground beef. Use a wooden spoon to stir the mix for five minutes.
After the meat loses its pink colour, add the minced garlic, seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper, and stir the ingredients for one minute before you add the tomato sauce and the beef broth.
Leave the ingredients to boil, and then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover the saucepan and leave it for five more minutes to cook.
Uncover the saucepan to add the pasta and stir the mix. Leave it for nine more minutes on medium-low heat, then remove from heat and leave it for five minutes to cool before you add the parmesan cheese and serve.
Skillet Steak with Mushroom Sauce
This dish shouldn’t take more than 25 minutes to cook. Moreover, you need a good knife for this dish to slice the meat and mushrooms.
Kitchen lovers at kitchenauthority.net recommend that you have a good quality kitchen knife set in your kitchen. Different types of knives for different uses, and here you better use the steak knife. Here are the ingredients:
● ¼ tablespoon of salt
● Two tablespoons of cornstarch
● Twelve ounces of boneless beef steak
● Two teaspoons of steak grilling seasoning (without salt)
● Six ounces of broccoli
● Two teaspoons of canola oil
● Two cups of peas (frozen)
● Fresh mushrooms (sliced)
● One cup of beef broth (without salt)
● One tablespoon of mustard (whole-grain)
Before you start cooking, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Get a 12-inch cast-iron skillet and turn the heat on medium-high to heat the oil. Add the steak seasoning to the meat.
Then, add the meat and broccoli and cook them for four minutes. Add the frozen peas and put the skillet in the preheated oven to bake for eight minutes at 145 degrees.
Finally, remove the meat and veggies from the skillet and cover them.
To make the sauce, take the drippings left in the skillet and add the mushrooms. Cook for 3 minutes over medium-high heat.
Start whisking the beef broth, cornstarch, salt, and mustard together and stir into the mushrooms. Cook the mixture until it becomes thick, and then stir for one more minute.
Skillet Ravioli Lasagna
Skillet ravioli lasagna’s total cooking time is 20 minutes. You will need:
● Package of frozen cheese ravioli
● One pound of lean beef (ground)
● Half teaspoon of garlic powder
● One and a half teaspoon of dried oregano
● Half teaspoon of salt
● ¼ teaspoon of ground pepper
● One can of crushed tomatoes (salt-free)
● ¼ cup of fresh basil (chopped)
● Eight ounces of mozzarella balls.

First, you need to preheat the broiler and boil a large pot of water. Then, cook the ravioli and drain it, then set it aside for now.
Cook the beef in a large cast-iron skillet on medium-high heat for five minutes. Add the oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Then, add the tomatoes and basil, let it simmer, then fold in the ravioli and mozzarella balls. Finally, put the pan in the oven and broil for 3 minutes.
