OXO Good Grips Complete Grate and Slice - Review

The OXO Good Grips Complete Grate & Slice Set has everything you need for grating and slicing all in one handy container making it so convenient to use and easy to store.  Everything needed sits inside a neat and tidy storage box, which can also be used to store grated food in the fridge.

The Grate & Slice Set has coarse and medium grating surfaces, and straight and julienne slicing surfaces.  Each one is colour-coded so you just place your chosen grater or slicer on top of the lid as shown in my pictures and off you go!  If you're is a rush you can grate or slice over straight over bowls or plates. 


I found it really comfortable to use and the non-slip feet keep the container steady on the work surface.  I really like this product and love that everything you need is so neat and tidy and easy to store.  When you're done you can put everything in the dishwasher but it takes no time at all to wash in nice hot sudsy water (take care though as the blades are sharp) then a quick rinse and dry and you're all set to store it until you need it again.

All in all:
I think the OXO Good Grips Complete Grate and Slice is good value for money priced at £30.00 and is very well made too.
The only minor fault find in my opinion, is while the red coloured slicer is brilliant for slicing say cucumber, onion or even potatoes (it is absolutely perfect for making dauphinoise potatoes) I think for tomatoes they are a bit on the thin side.  Another slightly thicker slicer would be just perfect.
