Stuffed onions are so easy to make, all you need is cheese, bacon and an apple corer!

You can buy an apple corer over on Amazon.
Set the depth gauge to remove the core as high or low as you want.
Twist the top part to remove the core.
Stuff onions, tomatoes, baby potatoes or indeed whatever else you might fancy stuffing!

Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Onions
Stuffed onions are really easy to make but you will need an apple
corer.

Ingredients
- 2 large onions - skin peeled and top and bottom sliced off so they stand flat
- 2 rashers of smoked back bacon
- a little Cheddar cheese - chopped
- a little Parmesan cheese
- a tiny bit of chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F or Gas 6
- Remove the core from the onions using an apple corer.
- Rub each onion with a little olive oil, put the unstuffed onions onto a shallow baking tray, and cook for about 35 minutes.
- Meanwhile, fry the bacon and cook till crispy.
- Remove the onions from the oven and stuff each onion with the cheese and the bacon.
- Grate over a little Parmesan and put the onions back into the oven for another 15 minutes until the onions are cooked and the cheese has melted.
- Sprinkle over a little chopped parsley and serve straight away.
